Excitement Abates for Blogging
I was very excited Saturday when I found that I could take up this blog after so many years of being inactive. However I have found that my excitement has abated as there is no interaction on the postings. Face Book, Twitter, and My Space have taken posting and blogging to a totally different level. Although they are the Reader Digest of communication, it is what this generation craves....instant gratification. I guess I must include myself in that category. I cannot wait to finish this blog and get on FaceBook and see what has been posted since 6 am this morning. LOL
My bad.....but I will continue to use this for longer blogs as I am not a woman of few words.
It is a really beautiful day in Metamora...am looking forward to walking my mile just as soon as it gets out of the 30's and enters the 50's.....on the way to today's predicted high of ...wait for it....58...and SUNNY....Later

Yes Pat, I too hurry to see what's newly posted on FaceBook :) The ability to interact there is somewhat easier than in this format. You might want to provide a direct link on your FB wall to this Blog Site so that 'friends' can easily get here to read your blogs. Something else you might consider if you want longer messages to appear on your FB wall, is to use the FB "NOTE" feature. It provides unlimited messages. Just go to the top of your wall & find the "Note" tab, follow directions & there ya go! I will post one of my old "notes" to your wall to demonstrate. Happy posting!
