TUESDAY, THE THIRD DAY OF HOLY WEEK

I just wrote a great blog for today and lost it in the ether. Just wanted to say that today is the third day of Holy Week.
Palm Sunday was the first day when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the donkey. He spent the afternoon in the Temple ministering to people and answering their questions before he returned that even to Bethany, and the home of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus.

Monday was the second day and He went back to Jerusalem. On the way He was going to get a fig off the fig tree because he was hungry and there were no figs to be had. He then cursed the fig tree and went on His way to the Temple and again ministered to the people. He returned to Bethany Monday evening with His Disciples.

Tuesday is the third day of Holy Week and He goes back to the Temple in Jerusalem. On the way the Disciples notice the fig tree is dried up from the roots. Jesus then teaches the Disciples how to talk the walk of faith. If you believe in you heart and confess with your mouth, great and mighty things will happen in your life and in the life of others just as they did in His life in the earth.

Tuesday was a very busy day as you can read in Mark 11,12,13. You can also read about it in Matthew 21,22,23,24,25.

Jesus told them how He was able to perform the miracles and where He got the Power and Authority to do so. He told them, but they still didn't "get it".

Mark 11:28-33
28 And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
29 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.
31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?
32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
33 And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
(KJV)

The simple reason He could do the things He did was because He was anointed with the Holy Ghost and Power the day He was baptized by John in the River Jordan. (This is proven by Peter in Acts 10)

Acts 10:37-38
37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
(KJV)

The Pharisees just could not bring themselves to admit that this Jesus was sent to them by God and was indeed their Messiah. They fought Him then and they still resist Him today. But many believed in Him then and many believe in Him today.

We are living in exciting times and I am so glad to be here. PRAISE THE LORD for the third day of Holy Week. Be back tomorrow.
